Healthy appetite

I was weighed by the health visitor today and have put on weight again. I'm now 10lb 2oz and continue to be on the 75th centile which is excellent.  The health visitor and mummy are very happy with me.

Weigh in

I visited the drop-in baby clinic at the doctor's today and the health visitor weighed me.  Even though I'm possetting a lot, I'm still putting on weighed at a healthy rate.  I'm now 9lb 1oz.

I made weight!

I have been discharged by the midwife because I have returned to my birth weight which shows that I am feeding well. Bye bye Ann Taylor - maybe see you again one day!

Weight loss

The midwife visited today and weighed me.  I have to be undressed which I don't like because it's cold.  I've lost weight, as all babies do, and dropped down to 7lb 3oz.  As this is not quite 10% the midwife is very happy with my progress.  She pricked my heel to take a sample of my blood and I didn't like it.  She's nice though - her name's Joelle.

The arrival of Benjamin George Tucker

After mummy being in labour from 1.57am to 11am at home and, thereafter, in the birth centre at the Women's Hospital, I was born at 8.29pm on 10/11/12. A very cool date of birth to have!

Daddy cut my cord and was present throughout the labour supporting my mummy. His face was the first face I saw, as he was at the business end.

I was 52cm long and weighed in at a very healthy 8lb 8oz.

I passed all the tests with flying colours - hopefully a sign of things to come!

I was discharged at 12.30pm today (11/11/12) and went home with my parents.

I'm off to sleep - something I seem to be very good at. I'm feeding well and I haven't cried once. x

Overdue!

My due date of 7th November has passed. All I can hear are shouts of "get out!"
